Join us for a special celebration of six years of Yoga + Beer, as we welcome guitarist and musician CJ Hawley to our August class at Gigantic! This Yoga + Beer event will begin with a 75 minute all levels, flow yoga class, taught by Beer Yogi and yoga instructor, Mikki Trowbridge and accompanied by CJ’s musical musings. After class, yogis are invited to stay and enjoy a pint.
As part of our week of birthday festivities, this class is a double stamp class. And every yogi who attends will receive their choice of our limited edition Yoga + Beer stickers, which will only be available at our 6 year birthday events.

Curtis “CJ” Hawley blends instrumental acoustic guitar techniques with experimental loops and effects. Originally hailing from the Bay Area, he’s graced some of Portland’s greatest music haunts such as: White Eagle Saloon, McMenamins Al’s Den, and the Firkin Tavern. His playing style has sparked comparisons to Dave Matthews with adept finger-picking technique reminiscent of Andy McKee. His debut EP, “Roots,” was released February 18, 2018, and is a collection of ambient instrumentals for moments of quiet contemplation.

Class is only open to yogis over the age of 21.
